Patapsco Valley State Park
The weather here in Baltimore can be wacky.
This morning it is cold, windy and flurrying.
While yesterday was a gorgeous 70' day.
Nothing better then enjoying my morning coffee out on the deck in February. How often does that happen?
The warm fresh air instantly motivated me to tackle some housework. I opened the windows, pulled out the cleaning supplies and was ready to scrub when sally woke up and asked if we could do something outdoors.
1 husband with coal on his boots, 3 dogs, 1 molting bird, and a steady fire burning in the stove =
lots of dirt, dust and dog hair.
I really needed to get some things done...
but ...
IT COULD WAIT FOR TOMORROW!
Next Sally and I had to decide where we wanted to go.
I was thinking of Georgetown in DC, walk the waterfront promenade, have a nice lunch...
But Sally was thinking of something more woodsy.
We grabbed a quick to-go lunch and headed to one of our favorite places for a long hike in the woods.

What a perfect February day with my one of my favorite daughters!!
Speaking of daughters, my other favorite daughter is returning home from Switzerland next week. Yeaaaaahhhh!!!!
Today, it's blustery cold...
and I need to finish what I started yesterday.
Clean clean clean.
Have a great day!
Very cute daughter!
ReplyDeleteVery wise mother!
Cleaning can wait. A day with a daughter, might not. :-)
And a lovely place to visit.
Just noticed. You live in Baltimore!!! :-) Our oldest grand daughter does also. She is an Electrical Engineer, having graduated from Loyola Baltimore a couple of years ago.
It's quite cool, to have a blogging friend, living in the same area.
As you can see, from my today's blog entry, she grew up used to much more winter-y weather, than yours and hers, now. :-)
But she does know how to drive, in bad weather, when you get some.
Beautiful pictures, Leslie! I like your cleaning method!
