A hot day on the porch

Good Morning.
Happy Thursday.

It's a humid and rainy morning here in Baltimore.

I've got the windows open but there is hardly any breeze coming though.
I already know that it's going to be an Air Conditioner day.

Yesterday was also very hot and humid.
We were supposed to take the boat out but there was a chance of storms
so we hung out inside and had a great take out dinner.

And like a dummy,  I chose one of the hottest days to clean the sun porch.

Y'all know I love this little porch.
So do the dogs.
Stanley has taken over the day bed so now I have to wash pillows on a weekly basis.
Dogs are disgusting.

 Some of the kids art..
still my favorite.

Here's another "Happy Everything".

About 15 years ago I was working at AC Moore ( a local craft store) and my boss and I were unpacking boxes and he pulled this picture out and said.. " I'm going to get this for you Tinkerbell!."
I bought it for myself but I always think of my old boss Mel when I look at it.
Mel suffered from Parkinson's disease and passed away last year.
He was one of a kind!

Now it's all cozy and too hot to enjoy.  : )

Do you see that little pumpkin on the radiator on the right?
It's fall all year long in our house..
That's one of my wax melt warmers and I burn the same scent just about every day.
Warm Apple Pie.
It smells so good that one day the mailman asked me what I am always baking..
"it smells like someone be in there baking pies alllllll day"
I got a good chuckle from him and gifted him with his very own Warm Apple Pie wax melts.

Hope that you all have a great Thursday.
I'm about to load of my wax melts and clean up the rest of the house.
It never ends.

  2. Oh dear, baking pies every day would be awful, because then you'd have to eat them. How nice to gift the postman those wax melts! When I was a kid, we had the same mailman for years on end, and he was forever giving the kids sticks of gum, he was so nice. I had no idea there was even a concept of creepy, back then, I just knew he was a nice old man. Anyway, I do love your porch, especially the Labrador pillow. I could NOT work at AC Moore, I would bring home half the store. It's closed down now, and Michael's is taking over...those stores are just too much fun. I love "Happy Everything".

    1. Hi Della!! Wanna hear something funny? When I left ACM, I went to work for Michaels for 6 years. We used to call our house A.C. Michaels because I had so much crafting supplies. : ) I saved money when I quit. : )

  3. I love your porch, can I live there:) It has been rainy here and steamy when the rain stopped. Today and for a few days ahead, the weather is supposed to be sunny with low humidity! I can't wait to be outside! I love the smell of something baking, even when there isn't anything baking:) Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!

  7. Your porch looks welcoming with lots a pretty colors.

Funny how we both live in MD and how different our weather is. Today was cool and 64 degrees while we worked on building our deck.

You live in Baltimore. Our oldest Grand daughter and her BF, live a bit outside of Baltimore, now. Both are Electrical Engineers and that area, is in the "Corridor For Such Work." -smile- They are actually looking to buy a house.
