good news

I don't know where I picked it up
but that was one nasty sickness that I had.
Thank you for the well wishes,  besides a little cough every now and then, I am just about back to normal.  I don't ever recall a time when it hurt to breath.
Something great has come out of all of this.
A combination of my uncle passing so quickly after being diagnosed with lung cancer and the horrible bronchitis that I had has caused me to finally quit smoking.
Tomorrow makes day #7!
( that's 49.00 in my jar already!!)
I'm super proud!
If you've ever quit smoking you know how hard it is..
I've been taking a lot of naps!!
I haven't had my camera out in a few weeks,
nor have I done much around the house besides trying to heel myself.
And it shows,  you should see the dust.  : )
I'll be back real soon with some fun projects to share
and a salad recipe that I am in love with.
so delicious!
Until then,  Have a wonderful weekend.
See you soon.

  1. GOOD for you my friend! Keep up the good work and breath in the fresh air! BIG HUGS!

  2. Glad to hear you are feeling better and way to go! I've never been a smoker, but have family members that are and have witnessed how very hard it is to kick the habit.

  5. Quitting smoking was one of the hardest things I ever did but also one of the most rewarding! I've been smoke free for about 16 years now and it seems strange that I ever smoked. Stay strong and GOOD LUCK! You can do it!

  6. Oh, so glad you have stopped smoking. I smoked for years and years...way too many...and I quit cold turkey 14 years ago and never looked back...I am sooo proud of you.
Glad you are feeling so much better...

  7. Glad you are feeling better! I was a smoker too! Its really hard to quit, but so worth it in the end!

  8. Glad to hear your on the mend... Sorry for the loss of your uncle.
I smoked for a very VERY short time. Quitting is something I've never regretted- I hope you continue to QUIT! I don't think you'll regret it!
