The car dilema ~ we have a winner.

Last week I had started a post about Michelle buying her first (newish) car .   Since her old Chevy died she has had her heart set on a Fiat.  It's a cute little car - LITTLE TINY car -   Paul and I were both proud and apprehensive about it.  Although we would have preferred that she got something a little larger and American made,  she's an adult who makes her own decisions and sometimes we just have to roll with it.

Just 2 days after she bought it,  she notified us that she didn't feel safe and that she was going to return it.   Long story short,  that's exactly what she did.  I didn't even know that you could return a car!   Honestly,  I wasn't sure what would happen after that.  Like, how would it effect her credit and Would she be able to pick up another car loan?

We waited another week before we went back out.  Meanwhile Paul and I had been doing the car browsing for her.  We knew that she wanted a little hatchback and we wanted something American made so that Paul could do minor repairs when need be.

On Saturday we found the winner!!!   A Chevy Sonic.  It's still small but larger and sturdier then the fiat.   The sales people were amazing and she left the lot with a great car while saving a ton of money.    And guess what...   She loves it!!!

Now we can breath a little.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

It's getting late and I have a ton of things to finish up this evening.  I'll be back soon with some news about a job that I am working on.  You all won't believe what I've been hired to do...
Hint:   one world ~  Halloween!  : )

Until next time.

  3. Wise young lady. Deciding for herself, that she didn't feel safe.

And wise parents, to not push the issues, earlier.

    But happy outcome, after all.
