Christmas 2017

Well,  I did plan to be back before the big day but it just didn't happen.   I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas.

It was a very nice Christmas here.
We spent Christmas eve with grandma in Pennsylvania where the snow showers gave perfect ambiance to our Christmas eve dinner.

Christmas morning was full of generous gift giving,  a delicious breakfast casserole and a big mess all over the floor.

This set of water paintings were a gift from sally..  Aren't they adorable.

And this beautiful "Charlotte" garden flag was a gift from Michelle.  Do you see a theme here?

I am so blessed.

The rest of the day was mostly spent
in the kitchen preparing our Christmas dinner and in the car doing some final practice driving with Sally who was taking her driving test on the day after.

After dinner we had to test out the George Clooney Tequila that I received from my neighbor while we indulged in a crude game of Cards Against Humanity.
Doesn't matter how many times we play that game...
It's always hilarious!
And the few shots of tequila really made it interesting.

Yup,  it was a very laid back and enjoyable Holiday.
I'm sad that it's over.

Wait,   are you wondering how Sally did on her driving test yesterday?

She PASSED!

Would you please add our new driver to your prayer list that she is safe and smart on the roads.

🎄🎄🎄🎄

If I am not back before the new year...
Wishing you all a wonderful 2018.
May all of your New Year wishes come true!
