Happy September 1st

Hi Friends.
I hope that you all are having a great Labor Day weekend.

We started this beautiful weekend like this...

Nice right!
I love this picture.
It is so completely honest.

Of course we took the little one with us.
She listens really well.
Although she did  snap at two little kids.
Apparently that she is not a fan of children.

We keep the inflatable paddleboard on the boat so that I can paddle whenever we go out.
It's nice but definitely a lot different than the fiberglass board.
It takes some getting used to but once you get the feel for it..
you get a good fun workout.
Charlotte loves it.

I can't believe that today is September 1st.
The Ber months are my favorite and this probably doesn't make much sense but as much as I love and look forward to them,  I'm a little sad that they are here.
Time goes so fast and I know that these months will be a memory before I know it.

It's kinda like Christmas.
I love the Christmas season..  the preparation,  hustle, and the feeling.
But,
Christmas day I always feel a little sadness in my heart.
Because it's over.

As I move forward into the first week of September my planner is pretty lite.
I had some yucky procedures scheduled on Thursday but postponed them for a time when Paul is available to go with me.
I've been feeling pretty good lately and hopefully that will last until the next appointment.

As the days go on, I will fill in the dates with some more fall cleaning/decorating plans.
You know that I am excited for that!!!

As for the rest of this quiet September 1st,
I am about to go grill some dinner,
clean up a bit and then I may start one of the two books that are waiting for me.

I love peaceful Sunday's like this.

Hope that you all are having a great weekend.
See you again soon.

  3. I just love the glimpse of your planner. It looks so festive and fun. It's going to be a hot one here today -- 100 degrees. Like you, I am anticipating fall, but trying to just take it a day at a time. Still a couple weeks of summer left. Our dog is not fond of kids either. In fact, she really doesn't like anyone but us! but she has learned that our grandkids tend to drop lots of food, so she's become a lot nicer to them;)

  4. Yep I love the BER months too...just not so much the December cold one even though it is my birthday month. Looks like you spent the holiday weekend doing fun things! Janice

  6. I know just what you mean. I love this time of year and the holidays, but they pass by so fast! Then I'm sad when it's over.
