Happy Everything

Happy Everything to you!!!

I am celebrating Happy day 3 of social media detox
and Happy 4th or 5th day in a row of posting on my blog.

It's been fun and I've been way more productive and much less gloom and doom.

I had some leftover sugar cookie dough that needed to be used so I dolled up some cookies with sprinkles from different seasons.

I was inspired by this dish.

Isn't it perfect!!!!
My mother in law bought it for me many years ago and I hardly use it.

I had so many dishes in my cabinets that I loved but never used because I was always afraid that I would break them.    While purging the house last year,  I pulled the stuff out and started to use it.
What's the point of having it if you never enjoy it.

Back to the cake plate..

If you know me,  then you know that this season is my favorite!

If y'all lived closer I would say,
come on over and help us take care of these cookies.
We can have coffee and make stuff!!  : )

Happy Everything to you guys!
May you find something to celebrate today and every day.

  5. I love the plate! And I love the idea of taking a social detox. I'm with you about using all those special dishes and keeping them handy. I want my family to see them on the table and being used, so they can have their own memories of the special items and things they might want someday. And if they get broken, well, it's only stuff.

  6. Your cookies look so good. A great idea.
I've not been one to save things for special occasions but use them because I like them. I have an article I saved somewhere about just this thing. I'll try to find it.

    I love Autumn tooooooooo!

But I try to live in each Season, as it comes. Some are harder than others, of course.

Like right now, it's a bit too hot for my preferences. But! Be glad the windows are open! -smile- Do I have the right attitude????

I'm certainly happy I came across your blog, because you certainly do Have The Right Attitude!!!!!!
